13th January - First trip this year!

 

Woke up this morning, looked out my window - what did I see?? Fresh, white snow covering trees and houses. Holy sh....! And as the sun is about to return from it's arctic hibernation, and with a clear, blue sky, there was only one thing to do - boots and skis on!! The goal today was "Kvalhornet" a summit some 45 minutes drive from Bodø. A nice couple, Bjørn and Wibeke, allowed me to join them, and as the first sunrays hit "Kvalhornet" this year, we hit another summit for a cup of tea before starting our first 2012 decent. Hurra! Season has started!
