Sail and Ski, March 3rd-10th- Thanks for the wonderful trip. From the weather to the group, guide and crew, it has been a great experience. The Northern Lights were beautiful. We are lucky to have had such a great trip! I loved the "honeymoon suite". It was very cozy. Heather + Peter, VT, USA - Harvey, Charles and Knut! Thanks for a fantastic trip. I had a great time and loved the record collection. Keep on rocking to King Crimson. Shawn Bratcher, USA - It's been a fantastic week with "pudder to pungen", Northern Lights and more food than we could ever possibly eat. What else do ski tourists need? Cheers. Chaz, London, UK - To Charles, Knut and Harvey, Northern Norway surpassed my expectations, as did the Goxsheim, the weather, the Northern Lights, albeit varied skiing. Many thanks. Bill Murie, Thames Ditton, UK - Charles, Knut and Harvey. Really enjoyed the scenery + company. The boat was a fantastic base even when I did feel a little sea sick! Thanks a million. David, UK/Switzerland - Had a great time - perfect clear weather every day, good food, Northern Lights + skiing. Definitly recommend to anyone who likes walkup hills + skiing down. Thanks to you all. Sail and Ski, April 21st - 28th- Dear Charles and Knut. - Our first thoughts when we saw the Gox was "Whaoo! What a magnificent boat!" The trip was just as well. Unforgettable skiing in a superb backcountry. After a hard day skiing, the food prepared everyday by the boss was excellent, especially the meatballs, fish balls with curry sauce and reindeer stew. But we had a hard time finishing it!! However - first guys to finish the meatballs! A big thank to the captain and crew Knut for the great atmosphere end the excellent welcoming. Both were very professional and responding so well to the waiting of the hosts. During this week the three first days were amazing. The weather and snow were great. Itineraries were well chosen and very well guided. Back to the boat after hard days skiing, beers and soup were so much appreciated. In brief we had a lot of FUN! Laurent, Sam, Jéromé, David, Jean-Marc, Grégoire, 2 x Christophe and Robin (guide)

Bodø - North Cape, July 8th - 18th- This has been a most enjoyable trip. We have had mixed weather but enough wind for some good sailing. Elizabeth Scheffey, Arizona, USA - Excellent food + excellent company has kept spirit up during the rain + wind. The abandoned cove at Bustad was fabulous, the Sea Eagles on Gjessværstappan were a great surprise, and the views pretty much everywhere were awesome. Wal Newton, Mold, Nth Wales and Alan Sharland, UK - As an avid sailor, I thorougly enjoyed Charles Wara's sailing expertice and intimate knowledge of the North Norwegian coast. I would not hesitate to recomend this "long trip" on the "Goxsheim" to anybody. I learned a great deal about sailing. The weather was variable which made the sailing great fun. The scenery was spectacular and the Norwegian food prepared by Charles and Natasha was both unusual and superb. The crew and guests were all congenial and interesting. Thank you Charles and Natasha for a wonderful trip. Harold and Jan Byler, Brady, Texas, USA

North Cape - Tromsø, July 27th - August 4th- A feast for the senses! Great scenery, food, wildlife and company all combine to make this a uniquely enjoyable experience. Natasha and Charles were simply fantastic hosts. Highly recomended. Lisa and Ian King, UK - Fantastic scenery, fantastic hosts. Thank you both for a wonderful experience sailing around North Norway, going on "expeditions" and eating great food. And for arranging such good weather that I could wear my shorts for 6 days out of 8 (Mark)! - PS: One piece of advice for other guests: the peanuts are for Charles, not you! - Best wishes Tracy Woods and Mark Heron (www.markheron.co.uk)

Killer Whale Safari from Svolvær, October 25th - 29th- During these four days we have had a wonderful experience. Natasha and Charles showed us the wonderful places of Lofoten. I am impressed of the picturesque harbours, the immense views and sceneries. Every day we have had a different type of weather, but almost good weather. Thanks for the good meals. Thanks for your immense hospitality. You both made me feel at home on the “Goxsheim”. And yesterday as a special gift the encounters with the Killer Whales on a flat sea and blue sky. This event will be part of my top ten lists of beauties of nature. Many thanks. I hope I will join on another time in another part of Norway. All the best for you, Natasha and Charles. Joost Brand, the Netherlands - Thanks Natasha and Charles for the great time I have on this beautiful ship and this exiting place. Cora Brand - van Kampen, the Netherlands - I guess I’ll have to come back one day to sail this beautiful ship of yours. Except from that this has been an incredible experience. A much needed vacation, but after all much more than that. So I’ll leave today with a truckload of memories on mental i-prints and an even bigger load of pictures. I hope you have enjoyed our company as much as we have enjoyed yours. Also thanks to Rudolf. He was delicious. And I will hereby give you the cure for everybody who gets injured at the brothel of Skrova: Just drink one beer to many and empty an almost empty bottle of whisky. The next day all troubles will have disappeared as snow before the sun. So thanks again for this marvellous introduction to the scenery of Lofoten. And off course its impressive night life. So best luck to you – and off course the Goxsheim (she is a thing of beauty). Tjerk Poppinga, the Netherlands

The Northern Lights Cruise, February 24th-28th
- A great experience with very nice people, especially the 3 british ladies. Il Grande Nord è magico!! Fransesca Bodo, Biella, Italy
- Una cosa particolarmente bella di questa barca era il modo di mangiare , ma soprattutto la compagnia! (The best thing of this boat was the food, but expecially the companionship !) Giulia Bodo, Biella, Italy - Well, I knew from the guidebooks that the scenery would be magnificent and the water crystal clear and delicious. And I allways knew that we would see The Northern Lights in the end - (too magical and otherwordly to be there just on top of our whim). But I never anticipated that the journey would be in such a luxury - and above all didn't imagine that we would eat every day as if we were in a 4 star reastaurant! The cream of reindeer stew was possibly the most delicious dinner I have ever had! Thank you so much to Natasha and Charles for all your har work. Thank you for beeing so flexible, changing the plans as the weather demanded and bringing us back through a maelstrom of Northern Lights at 1'o'clock in the morning! Good luck with your beautiful ship. Wishing you many more adventures in her! Melissa Ronaldson, London, UK (http://www.lcherbalists.co.uk) - Melissa has said it all, really, but..... I came here not knowing what to expect and it was wonderfull. The snow was unbelievable and great fun - I've never seen so much of it. The food was amazing and so much of it. Natasha and Charles worked really hard, were really flexible and did everything to make our trip a great experience. I would love to come again and see more. Loz Eva Samuels, Great Malvern, UK - A most marvellous and magical adventure, the most snow I've ever seen in my life, up to my waist and fantastic fun to play in. Thank you Charles and Natasha for such splendid feasts and fine hospitality and to the sky for finally giving us Northern Lights! The boat is a very fine craft in every way, beautifully kept, luxurious and an honour to have an adventure in! Rachel Kenyon, Londom, UK
